Overview
Or What Does This Website Do?
FindBikerRuns.com is a free site where visitors may post and search motorcycle runs of all types.
Visitors searching for motorcycle run information can get run information for a region (usually by state) for a selected month or any upcoming runs posted for that region simply by using the drop down menus.
Visitors wanting to post motorcycle run information will first have to register. This is a simple form only requiring a username, a password, an email address and acceptance of FindBikerRuns.com policies. The email address's sole purpose is to be used in case there is some problem with your postings, otherwise you will never hear from us. We won't, and never intend to, purposely disclose your email to anyone short of a written court order or law enforcement agency search warrant.
Once you are registered as a lister (poster) you may post as many motorcycle runs as you require. The system will keep track of your active runs and give you the option to edit or delete them any time you are logged in. All runs will be automatically removed from the system a week to ten days after the run start date.

When I was first approached about designing this site, I had a blank slate. But, about a year ago I did a layout for a gal and she had some perils of wisdom born of innocence in the web world. Her only requests were the site not look like a garage sale and be visually rich. She was sick and tired of going to sites where finding the links she wanted was a chore amongst all the clutter and just reading the information tedious. Her garage sale comment has always stuck in my mind, now when I go to one of these overly common sites I just stare at the chaos of ads, links and text and wonder who ever dictated this is what we wanted. So I decided to make this site simple, straight forward to navigate, with just a couple ads large enough to really put information in. I went with a subdued color scheme so the site itself would not compete with the ads and kept the information all together, located uniformly from page to page. All in all, I wanted a nice comfortable place to visit where information is easily obtained and the advertising is polite.

BTW The gal's website is www.towertarot.com, it truly is a beautiful website and she'd be delighted if you'd stop in for a visit.
